Dr. Poling graduated summa cum laude from The Ohio State Veterinary College in 1988 and came to work at the Avon Animal Hospital in August of the same year. She particularly enjoys working up internal medicine cases, diabetics and doing surgery. When not helping pets feel better, she divides her free time between her husband, and her two horses, Mic an appendix Quarter horse and Jude an Anglo-Trakehner. "Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in an attractive and well preserved body, but rather a skid in sideways, reins in one hand, wine in the other, body thoroughly used up, totally worn out and yelling "Woo Hoo, what a ride!"
